Hand-knotted in Mashad, the carpet-weaving city of northeastern Iran's Khorasan province, this one-of-a-kind rug is all wool and measures 8'4" x 11'. Its grey-blue field carries rows of small paisley-like figures in muted rust and ivory, framed by wide borders of blush pink and cream. The faded palette reads quiet and lived-in, the kind of color that settles a room rather than competing with it.
